Chaim Gove Bais Hamedrash
The Bais Medrash construction has begun and we encourage everyone to take a look at the progress to date. Concrete walls and dark panels have already been removed to create a large bright Bais Medrash that offers our shul a conducive environment for learning, davening, programs, and simchas. The painter is expected to begin his work this week to be followed by the installment of lighting fixtures and the ceiling over the next few weeks. Partition walls designed to maximize the space and enable multiple activities to occur simultaneously have been ordered. In short, there is a lot of activity under way generating excitement around how our community has rallied to turn an idea for the future into reality. While there is much more work to be done, our Hakaras Hatov to the Rav is certainly timely and we offer a Yasher Koach to the Rav for his vision and enthusiasm combined with his ceaseless efforts in guiding the shul to this milestone. Please note that there are still opportunities to participate in the Bais Medrash project that will allow you to stake your claim and share in the Torah pursuits that the Bais Medrash offers. For more information on what is available please contact the shul office at 773-2552. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a letter that was sent to the membership: To Members and Friends of Tifereth Israel, Many of you are aware of the renovation project that has been planned over the year. At present, we are awaiting the final working architectural plans, and nearing the final stage of the project - the actual construction. While we have raised a significant amount in pledges, we believe that the project will cost more than the amount of money that has been pledged thus far. We ask that you presently consider endowing items or making some pledge, in order for this important endeavor to go forward smoothly and efficiently. As has been noted before, a pledge can be paid in installments over the course of up to three years. Please forward this message to friends and family who might be interested in participating. It is also a distinctive opportunity to memorialize someone who has passed away. Sincerely, Rabbi Aaron Cohen Louis Chapman David Miller [ Home | Schedule & Shiurim | Shul Contacts | News & Upcoming Events | Map & Directions | Luach.com ]
